“Set in the centre of the historical town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Rooms are spacious yet cosy with crisp cotton sheets and luxurious throws. The Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre is just opposite so the bar and terrace are full of atmosphere. Don't forget the Cotswolds are on your doorstep..Perfect!”

Hotel review

You won’t find a better located hotel to explore historic Stratford-upon-Avon on foot. The Arden is steps away from the famous Royal Shakespeare Theatres; overlooking the River Avon and Swan Theatre building. Highlights include the hotel’s pretty landscaped garden and the inviting Terrace suite lounge space, which are relaxing places to unwind with a drink and soak up the river view. Be sure to dine at its 2 AA Rosette No.44 Brasserie restaurant, where a friendly team serves tasty locally-sourced, seasonal dishes (if you have theatre tickets, the restaurant has an excellent-value pre-theatre menu, too). Rooms are individually decorated and offer a comfortable night’s sleep, with king-sized beds and air-conditioning. The hotel is best suited to adults, but children are catered for too, thanks to early dining times, cot beds and inter-connecting rooms available.
