Hotel Review

Anyone looking for a family friendly pub with rooms option in the North Norfolk coastal area would be hard pushed to better the Gin Trap Inn. Here they've poured their heart and soul into creating a laid-back property that will appeal not only to those travelling with kids, but to couples after a romantic getaway too. There's a range of rooms and suites, all individually designed and all fresh, bright and contemporary without forgetting the historic nature of the property. So as well as quirky headboards and luxury fabrics you'll find exposed beams and roaring open fires. The self catering cottages are equally smart with beautifully done interiors, spoiling bathrooms and kitchens that anyone would envy! The food here is all about keeping it fresh, local and seasonal, using the best possible produce. Menus range from pub classics to Sunday roasts (there's a comprehensive children's menu too) and there's an a la carte if you're looking for something a bit posher! Outside there's a large pub garden for lazy summer evenings and the perfect play area with tree house and chute to keep the little ones amused. An excellent pick for a chic yet family friendly Norfolk getaway.
