“Smart apartment-style hotel in central London, just minutes from Victoria Station. The Art Deco-inspired interiors give it a retro-cool vibe without trying too hard. There’s a gym, sauna, restaurant, bar, and even co-working. Feels more like a city clubhouse than a traditional hotel”

Hotel review

Vauxhall Bridge Road is not the best address in town, but it grows on you, once you realise how convenient it is to be a near neighbour of the Windsors at Buckingham Palace (12 mins by foot), your local MP at Westminster (15 mins) or your local art gallery  — The National Gallery (30 mins). Victoria Station (2 mins away) provides easy underground access to the rest of London, and mainline trains to the south coast and, more importantly, Gatwick Airport. In addition, there are plenty of excellent neighbourhood restaurants (Olivo, Poule au Pot, Hunan), and boutique shopping within 10 minutes. What looked a little unpromising suddenly becomes ideal!

Inside, The July London Victoria is laid back, relaxed and super friendly with an honesty bar, co-working space, meeting rooms, a deli and an all-day cafe which morphs into The Idler, a cocktail bar and excellent, well priced British-Mediterranean restaurant by night.

Rooms are generous with fully equipped kitchenettes in case you want to stay in, relax and catch a movie. Decor is geometric art deco style with pastel colours, vintage phones and classic books. Comfy beds, plenty of cupboard space make rooms perfect for short and long term stays. It’s a home away from home.
