Sacramento is becoming one of California's more compelling city break destinations, and the Kimpton Sawyer is at the centre of it all. Steps from Golden 1 Center, the California State Railroad Museum, the Amtrak station and Old Sacramento's waterfront, the location is as good as it gets.

The 250 rooms feature California oak woodwork, warm greys and browns echoing the Sierra Nevada, offset by vibrant paintings.
