Best Hotels Near Grand Teton National Park

Grand Teton National Park has some of America’s most spectacular mountain scenery. It’s got a number of beautiful alpine lakes and 12 of its rocky peaks have glaciers, including the impressive jut of Grand Teton, which rises to 13,700ft of exciting and inspiring terrain. And our Guru’s idea of the best hotels near Grand Teton National Park are those which make the most of these incredible views.

Spectacular images of Grand Teton National Park - like this - are often used to represent the whole of the Rocky Mountain range, and it’s just a wonderful place for anyone who loves to get out and exploring in the great outdoors. In winter the southern side of the park will get an impressive 15 feet of snow, but come Summer the park can be quite balmy, believe it or not. Some of our recommendations for the best hotels in Grand Teton National Park specialise in the ski season, but are still open during Summer.

Grand Teton is somewhat overshadowed - as far as fame goes - by Yellowstone National Park, directly to the south. And while it’s by no means a second choice when it comes to the views, the fact that Yellowstone draws the crowds away means that Grand Teton is far less busy and far more tranquil. Like Yellowstone, Grand Teton is a haven for wildlife: expect to see moose, elk, bison, grouse, marmot and maybe even a bald eagle or a bear or two.

There are two entrances to the park, Moose to the east, which is near Teton Village, where you’ll find several of the best hotels near Grand Teton National Park, and Moran, which is on the park’s southern border.
