“Housed in a 17th-century building in the heart of the old town. The restaurant is a local landmark serving quintessentially Swiss cuisine - raclettes and fondues galore. Traditional rooms with oak beams and stone floors. Small and discreet - a really lovely, homely setting. ”

Hotel Review

No set of Geneva hotel recommendations can leave out Les Armures. A historic building, now a classic Geneva hotel, it is small, discreet and family-run. The rooms are an elegant mix of ancient and modern but some can feel rather cramped. However, the location is unparalleled, in the heart of the Old Town, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The restaurant, one of the oldest in Geneva and which long pre-dates the transformation of the building into a hotel, is a local landmark, and one of the few places where you can get raclette year-round.
