“Seven homey Victorian townhouses, turned wellness-focused hotel in London’s leafy Bayswater. Inside, guests can expect muted tones, reclaimed woods, and natural textures that radiate calm. A serene wellness space, eco-conscious dining, and cosy lounges make this the perfect peaceful city hideaway.”

Hotel review

A sustainably-minded hotel within a row of 19th-century townhouses, Inhabit wears its hard-earned B Corp certification with pride. Conscious extras set the tone - a library corner stocked with stimulating reads; restorative smoothies and coffees whipped up at the café counter. A pescatarian menu by Yeotown offers super-healthy dishes like seabass and cauliflower drumsticks – clean food that embodies this hotel's ethos. Even the toilet paper is made from bamboo!

Cosy rooms feature grey, green and blue hues that whisper rather than shout. Pocket-sprung mattresses (medium tension) deliver proper comfort alongside caring touches: wooden lock boxes for a digital detox, spoiling Skandinavisk toiletries, and aromatherapy diffusers. Light sleepers should note curtains aren't blackout, and street noise can intrude – pack earplugs and an eye mask.

A weekly yoga schedule soothes alongside GAIA massages and treatments (book private sauna and salt room sessions in advance – your key card won't get you in without a receptionist’s help). The 24-hour gym and meditation pod cater to jetlagged bodies, while a bedside booklet offers stretches and recovery tips - find them beside local recommendations and details of the hotel’s thoughtful social enterprise collaborations.

For the mindful traveller, Inhabit delivers substance beyond sustainable style.
