Small, sleek and ultra stylish, Le Sen Boutique Hotel is a winner. Rooms are minimalist-chic, plenty of exposed concrete and a monochrome palette, with the full range of amenities. 19 rooms, 1 villa and two suites plus a well-equipped fitness centre border a particularly inviting turquoise-tiled swimming pool. Next to a soothing waterfall, the garden restaurant serves delicious Western and Laotian fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff are charming, and incredibly efficient. Tucked slightly away from the action, the hotel is a 15 minute walk from town, but not to worry as it also provides guests with a free shuttle service to and from the centrally located post-office and complimentary bicycles.
