Hotel Review

Burleigh Court is a gorgeous early 19th century listed manor house set in the heart of the Cotswolds. Its owners have recently poured much love and attention into refurbishing the interiors and you can expect country-chic styling as standard but with many modern, luxurious touches (including power showers as standard). The eighteen rooms and suites are spread betweeen the main house and adjacent coach house, but each offers a refreshing space; contemporary yet classic, furnished with plenty of antiques and many offering views over the stunning Golden valley. Families or those travelling with dogs should go for the coach house options. Most of these have separate entrances, the family suite is located right next to the pool (perfect for entertaining the youngsters), and there are six dog friendly rooms. The restaurant at Burleigh Court is another of its main draws. Having been awarded 2 AA Rosettes, you can expect delicious dishes, with many ingredients grown in the property's own kitchen garden and the rest sourced as locally as possible. Afternoon Tea is also a bit of a treat here, so make room for a blow out! If you're looking for an escape to the Cotswolds (and one that's great value too) we'd highly recommend a stay at Burleigh Court. Its location is stunning, there's easy access to a plethora of activities and sights, and you'll come away feeling like part of the family!
