EDITION Lake Como is the new darling on Lake Como. The historical 19th-century palazzo recently opened on the much quieter west shore of Cadenabbia - catering to a much younger, energetic crowd of travellers.  

Public spaces are slick and contemporary in design with signature EDITION amenities like a pool table in the social “living room” with a cocktail bar open at all hours of the day. There are 24 well-appointed suites and an upgrade will pay dividends with more closet space, bath tub, heat-rack, balcony and stunning views of the lake all at your disposal. 

The property has multiple restaurants and should be enjoyed rather than overlooked. Three Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colegreco designed the menu of Centino, the fine-dining restaurant with an ambitious cocktail pairing concept, and there is also Renzo, a casual alfresco dining experience featuring modern Italian-inspired dishes with spectacular views of Bellagio in the distance. Breakfast is an all-American fare with brownies and pound cake served instead of Italian pastries, but the highly energetic and friendly Italian staff make up for the cultural disconnect. 

The heart of the property is the wellness centre which includes EDITION’s first ever Longevity Spa. Biohacking, LED therapy and DNA testing are coupled with experiences in the steam room, sauna and the high-tech fitness centre. The stunning outdoor pool and private deck is the crown jewel of the property and can’t be missed because it’s a “vibe”.
