Hotel Review

Set in the heart of Burgundy’s wine country in the medieval city of Beaune, Hotel Le Cep is a charming hideaway for couples, solo travellers and groups that combines fine wine with wellness. Set across numerous adjoining historic buildings, the interior at Le Cep bursts with period charm and character. Think opulent rooms with chandeliers, antiques, Louis XIV furnishings and colourful wallpapers. Highlights include the warm, friendly service, having a glass of burgundy in the piano bar or during a tasting in the wine cellar, and the vast breakfast spread. But what makes the hotel particularly special and unique is its Spa Marie De Bourgogne, where you can soak up healing Ayurvedic treatments and programs derived from traditional Indian medicine; led by a talented team of therapists and doctors that trained in India. This is complemented by the delicious Indian vegetarian restaurant on-site too. You can also experience massage and rituals using products with anti-aging extracts derived from local pinot noir grapes, as well as high-tech therapies such as cryotherapy and chromotherapy. Plus, don’t miss the lovely steam room and outdoor sauna.
