Hotel Review
This enchanting 18th-century Savoyard farmhouse opened in 1976, its aim to feed hungry skiers. What started as a restaurant with rooms is now a gastronomic restaurant with a Michelin star, run by father and son René and Maxime Meilleur. The multi-course menu is ravishing, with exquisite tiny portions. There are also eight chocolate box bedrooms (Aurélie and Angeline are favourites), all deliciously rustic with creaky wooden floors, ancient beams and cowbells. Homemade pastries and jams for breakfast and wild strawberries, straight from the meadows.

Firstly, a name: "Bouitte" which, in local Savoy dialect means "little house". Then, the story. La Bouitte has been built in the family home, that, slowly but surely, has evolved from a restaurant serving excellent tartiflettes to 30 years later ... the table where you can relish an astonishing pigeonneau sur foin, from an old rustic Savoy chalet to the warm and inviting house with its warm wood decor, with its comfy bedrooms, the spa as welcoming as it is innovating.
