Since its opening in 2022, ‘O’ Mykonos – part of the Myconian Collection, a luxury Greek owned family hospitality company making waves on Mykonos since the late 70s – has carved its own unique niche as the go-to resort for the cool brigade. Adults-only ‘O’ has a moodier, glitzier aesthetic than your typical Cycladic retreat. Think of a modern, bold, and unapologetically fun hideaway alongside pool days, poolside DJ sets all the while spilling out onto Ornos Beach where parasols and luxury cabana sunbeds await for that seaside ‘sip- ‘n’ serve’.
Split between two buildings, ‘O’s combination of 65 rooms and suites come in a variety of styles — some with partial sea views, others are bright and airy, while the dark and sultry ground level rooms and suites are no less appealing. Some have private plunge pools surrounded by a verdant, jungle like oasis of plantlife. All combine to make it a perfect sanctury getaway for couples and groups of friends.
‘O’’s piece de resistance is the art and design found throughout, incorporating natural materials like marble, wood, and stone, often used in their raw state. Expect sculptural installations to statement pieces such as the floor-to-ceiling bold and unexpected topless female figure in its restaurant, where a fresh organic, locally sourced buffet breakfast awaits through to fine dining in the evenings.
