“A magnificent Renaissance Palace, turned luxurious hotel, south of the river. Indulgently large suites are packed with frescoes, elegant antiques and historic charm. Enjoy breakfast in the courtyard or drinks on the rooftop. Manages to retain and enhance the private Palazzo feel. ”

Hotel review

This grand palazzo situated in the Bohemian Oltrarno area was the owner’s family home until recently. Now it is a luxurious, suite-only hotel offering top-class service and facilities to go with the atmosphere. All but one of the spacious suites have sitting rooms furnished with antiques, squashy sofas and armchairs. The smallest – and most romantic – room is entirely frescoed and has a little private garden. The fabulous roof terrace offers views of the whole city.

Map & Location

See what they say

We asked the hotel to tell us something about themselves: § Why do you think people love staying in your hotel? We provide an authentic Florentine Noble Palace experience - a home from home. Palazzo Magnani Feroni dates back to the 1500’s. During the French domination of Italy it was occupied by an important French dignitary who threw extravagant parties, entertaining guests that included sovereigns from other countries. In the middle of the seventeenth century it was bought by the family of the present owner and used as their own personal residence. In time it was known as anextremely prestigious antique gallery around Europe and is now a luxurious and welcoming all-suite Palace in the center of Florence. § What is there to do in the area? The whole of historic Florence is on our doorstep, easily reachable by foot. § What kind of breakfast do you offer? Continental breakfast with freshly made eggs to order. § Do you offer other meals? And can you recommend good places to eat out locally? We have no restaurant, but there are many good places to eat within walking distance. Room service however is available for in suite meals and on request, as well as on our wonderful roof terrace with it's breathtaking views. Locally, we recommend 'Pandemonio', 'Cinghiale Bianco' and 'Camillo'. § Which are your most popular room types, and why? The Junior Suite is very popular for it's fresco - it's completely covered. The feroni suites because of their size, as well as the in-suite PC and power-plate massage machine! § What message would you like to give Hotel Guru readers? Our palace is an excellent choice if you are looking for something unique, and different, in Florence. It really is an authentic Palace. We are also happy to offer a complimentary bottle of wine in your suite to Hotel Guru readers.
