About Buritaca

On the Northernmost coast of Columbia, Buritaca is a small sleepy town that sits beside a pretty estuary just above the famous Tyrona National Park. A great place to stop off for clean beaches and picturesque scenery with tall mountains framing the town. Being a traditional area, don’t forget to bring some cash as many vendors won’t accept electronic payment. We’ve selected the best places to stay in Buritaca to unwind and relax.

Unsurprisingly for Columbia, Buritaca is hot year round and stays close to thirty degrees. The tropical climate does, however, bring rain so if you want to stay dry aim to visit between January and April.

Don’t miss grabbing a drink on the estuary and taking a day trip to the local waterfalls!

For the best places to stay in Buritaca, we recommend:
