Peter Island is a private island resort in the British Virgin Islands, offering about as much Caribbean paradise and peace as anyone could want. There are 55 rooms, villas and suites, but there’s a whole island to explore — with a choice of beaches — so plenty of space to be alone. Most rooms have glorious sea views, and all are stylishly decorated. Because you’re on your own private island the facilities are impressive, with lots to do if you want to, and a spa if you’re here to relax.
Parrot Cay is another private island hotel, this time in the Turks and Caicos group. Bijou Honeymoon Hotels

The Caves offers Five Stars worth of quirky character, in 13 colourful cottages memorably positioned on a low cliff directly above the ocean in Negril. Each cottage has a different colour scheme and layout, but they’re all airy, fun and unique, with huge beds and bathrooms — some have a small kitchen too.
