Florida, USA

Florida at Easter is warm, reliably sunny, and at the tail end of its winter-spring peak season. The beaches of Miami, the Florida Keys, and the Gulf Coast are all excellent in late March and April, before the summer's humidity arrives, and the state's extraordinary diversity, including the Art Deco of South Beach, the Everglades, the Kennedy Space Centre, and the theme parks of Orlando, means that different visitors can find very different versions of Florida. The Keys, with their remarkable underwater life, the light over the Gulf at sunset, and the unhurried small-town character of Islamorada and Marathon, are a particular Easter treat.
